A Photographers Love Letter to a Sunburnt Country
Girl Talk, Byron Bay (a networking event) has been a little side project for me over the last few months, I find it refreshing to meet, connect, share and collaborate with like minded girls hungry to create, learn, build businesses or strive for something more. Being in business and meeting customers, other business owners and change-makers over the years, several have said to me to make an event that joins everyone together, and voila - Girl Talk began!
In some ways, I didn't expect anything to really happen, the awkward teenager still trapped inside me expected no one to turn up, but to my surprise the first event earlier in the year at The Met Club, attracted nearly 20 girls, and everyone clicked! Non stop talk all night, hugs, laughter and confidence to do more!
On one of the evenings, I met Kim Akrigg, a wedding and fashion photographer and Krystal Rose, a make up artist and hair stylist and since we have teamed up as a creative team to offer Styling, Photography and Beauty!
Here is our first collaboration 'Photographers Love Letter to a Sunburnt Country' - published in Summersite!
